A Wedding Minister For You
Serving all of the State of Michigan
To get married in the State of Michigan, you
must first apply for a marriage application.
This is usually done in the county that you
reside in. However, if you are an out of state
visitor wishing to get married in Michigan, you
simply need to apply for a marriage license
in the county of which you wish to wed.

The waiting day for a marriage license to be
issued is 3 days. The county clerk can waive
this if need be.

$20 for residents of Michigan $30 for
non-residents.

You MUST have a marriage license to be
able to make your marriage legal and
binding. If the marriage is not recognized by
the State of Michigan, we can not and will not
perform it.

No Blood test is required.

Applicants under the age of 18 must be
accompanied by a legal guardian. Under 15
require legal guardian and court permission.

You will receive a copy of your marriage
license after the ceremony is performed. The
bride and groom, two witnesses, and the
ordained minister must sign them. The
license must then be mailed back to the
County Clerk within 10 business days
following the wedding ceremony.

It is important to verify all information
pertaining to your wedding ceremony with
your local county clerk.
